Position: Audit Associate Link
Job Purpose
The Audit Associate Link will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering high-quality audit and assurance engagements, ensuring compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and internal firm policies. The role involves leading audit teams, managing client relationships, and contributing to the firm’s strategic and business development objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage audit engagements from planning to final reporting.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor audit seniors and junior staff, ensuring timely delivery of assignments.
- Review audit working papers and reports to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards (ISA/IFRS).
- Assess audit risks and design appropriate audit procedures.
- Liaise with clients’ management and those charged with governance on audit findings and recommendations.
- Ensure audits are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Provide technical guidance on accounting, auditing, and regulatory matters.
- Support client relationship management and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Contribute to staff training, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fully qualified member of a recognised professional body (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ relevant audit experience, with at least 2 years at a supervisory or managerial level, preferably in a professional services or audit firm.
- Strong working knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and IFRS.
- Proven experience managing multiple audit engagements and teams concurrently.
