The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has taken a bold step to expand the Electronic Fiscal Receipting and Invoicing Solution (EFRIS Uganda) to twelve additional sectors effective 1st July 2025. From July 2025, twelve new sectors will be required to adopt EFRIS Uganda, including:

  • Wholesale & retail of fuel
  • Arts & entertainment
